Circassian public men decided to declare year of the Olympiad-2014 to be mourning year

The executive committee of the public organization "Adyghe Khasa" of Adygeya made a decision to declare the year 2014 the year of mourning and memory in the whole Circassian world. They informed about it on November, 18th in the secretary of the organization.

The decision was adopted at the session of the executive committee of "Adyghe Khasa" which took place in the evening of November, 17th. The decision was made in connection with that the year of carrying out of the Winter Olympiad-2014 in Sochi it will be 150 years since the date of the ending of the Caucasian war during which from the historical native land several hundreds thousand Circassians were expelled.

According to the leader "Adyghe Khasa" of Adygeya Arambiy Hapay, the executive committee of the organization had just suggested the corresponding offer, but the final decision on that question can be adopted by the International Circassian Association.
